Siren

These sirens are various places around town and are tested periodically, for use in emergencies. It used to be located right outside my dorm, and was tested on Saturday mornings. Usually while I was still asleep.

The reservoir at Asbury College is part of the city water system, so you're not supposed to fish or swim there.

Euro is a wine bar located in downtown Nicholasville. It's very classy, as is the Wine Shop just south of it on Main Street.

Today is Rich's birthday. Since I don't have a picture of a Strongbow or Fuller's ESB, Schneider Weisse at the Pub will have to do. Happy birthday, Beloved.

These guys brought their cannon to the Boy Scout campout, and fired it at the flag raising in the morning.

They're trying to tell us something here... if only they would just come out and SAY it.

There was a pretty good drop off just the other side of that railing. I have to assume, from the number of stop signs in this particular spot, that they've had problems with people thinking the signs were just a suggestion.

We must have passed this guy 5 times. Every time, I tried to get a picture. This is the only one that turned out anywhere near sharable. By the time I snapped this one, he had come to expect I was going to try to get a picture of him, and he waved and smiled for the camera.
